1.概述

DL-Methionine (DL-methionine), methionine is one of the basic units of protein, methionine can not be synthesized in animals, need to be taken from food, adding it to feed, can promote the growth of livestock, increase lean meat and achieve the effect of shortening the feeding cycle。

2.Market demand and forecast

In 2015, the global annual demand for methionine reached 1.1 million tons, and the demand for methionine in China was 22 percent.20,000 tons. That's 15.80,000 tons were imported。From 2010 to 2016, the year-on-year growth rate has been stable at 5%-6%.Between 5%, the growth rate of demand is stable, and it is expected to grow at a rate of about 7% per year in the future。

3.Production plan and scale

3.1 Production process overview

At present, the international production of DL-methionine technology has the following different process routes,

(1) French Adisseo technology: the technology uses sodium cyanide to make hynines。Hydrolysis with sodium hydroxide and acidification with sulfuric acid;

(2) Technology of Japan Cao Da Company: the technology uses sodium cyanide (early use of hydrocyanic acid) to produce hydanine, hydrolyzed with weak base calcium hydroxide, and acidized with hydrochloric acid;

(3) German Degussa technology: the technology uses hydrocyanic acid to make hynine with α-hydroxy-γ-methylthiobutyl nitrile, hydrolyzed with potassium carbonate and acidified with carbon dioxide。

3.2. Selection of process scheme

The technological routes adopted in our hospital are: (1) propylene oxidation to produce acrolein;(2) Hydrogen and sulfur to produce hydrogen sulfide;Synthesis of methyl mercaptan from hydrogen sulfide and methanol;(3) Synthesis of methythiopropionaldehyde from acrolein and methylmercaptan;(4) Finally methylthiopropionaldehyde, sodium cyanide, carbon dioxide and ammonia synthesis of hain (methylthioethyl hydantoin),Then methionine was prepared by sulfuric acid hydrolysis and other processes。

3.3 Process block diagram
