1.Product introduction

Polyether polyols (referred to as polyethers) are prepared by addition polymerization of an initiator (a compound containing an active hydrogen group) with ethylene oxide (EO) and propylene oxide (PO) in the presence of a catalyst。Polymers whose main chains contain ether bonds (-R-O-R -) and whose end groups or side groups contain more than 2 hydroxyl groups (-OH) are collectively referred to as polyether polyols。At room temperature, it is a colorless to brown viscous liquid, usually soluble in aromatic hydrocarbons, halogenated hydrocarbons, alcohols, ketones, and hygroscopic。Under the action of catalyst, polyhydroxyl or polyamine compounds were used as starting agents to synthesize with oxidized olefin by ring-opening homopolymerization or copolymerization。For example, glycerol reacts with propylene oxide and ethylene oxide to obtain polyether triol with molecular weight of 3000 ~ 5000。The largest yield of polyether is glycerol (glycerol) as the starting agent and epoxide (generally PO and EO combined), by changing the way of PO and EO feeding (mixed or separate adding), adding ratio, adding order and other conditions, to produce a variety of general polyether polyols。

At present, there are more than 30 polyether polyol production enterprises in China, and the production capacity has reached 2.56 million tons in 2014, and the total output has reached 1.8 million tons, of which nearly 20 are above the 10,000-ton scale。With the promotion of the national "13th Five-Year Plan" energy conservation and emission reduction goals, the energy efficiency standards for two terminal energy products of refrigeration freezers and household solar hot water systems have been introduced, and the innovation of wall insulation materials is also constantly improving, and a series of favorable policies have brought new development opportunities to the polyurethane industry。Polyether polyols, as one of the important raw materials for polyurethane production, also ushered in the development opportunity。 At present, 80% of polyether polyols in China are used in the field of polyurethane, mainly for the production of polyurethane soft bubbles, polyurethane hard bubbles and the production of CASE systems。From the perspective of market share, polyurethane soft foam accounts for about 70%, hard foam is about 25%, and CASE class is less than 5%。 From the perspective of downstream consumption structure, polyurethane soft foam is mainly used in the field of furniture and car cushions, hard foam is mainly used in cold storage and insulation, construction industry and solar water heater, CASE system mainly refers to the application in the fields of coatings, adhesives, sealants and elastomers。In the past two years, with the continuous improvement of national energy conservation and emission reduction and the continuous improvement of green environmental protection, the demand for hard bubble polyether in the construction field and soft bubble polyether in the automotive field is expected to maintain a strong development momentum。However, on the whole, China's soft foam polyether overcapacity, relatively saturated, the future growth rate should be lower than hard foam polyether。 At present, the consumption of hard foam polyether in China is still concentrated in the refrigeration industry, accounting for about 58% of the total consumption of hard foam, and the construction industry is only about 22%。
