1.概述

Polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) is a new thermal plastic resin with high performance and has been widely used。PPS is a crystalline polymer with excellent high temperature stability, flame retardancy, chemical corrosion resistance and good mechanical and electrical properties。It is widely used in automotive, electrical, mechanical and chemical fields。

At present, the demand for PPS in the world market is gradually increasing。At present, PPS product consumption in the domestic market is growing at a rate of 10% per year, while the effective capacity of the market can only meet 47% of the demand, and the rest need to rely on imports, so the market prospects are good, there are huge business opportunities。

3.1 Production process overview

At present, the commonly used production methods mainly include sodium sulfide method, sulfur solution method, p-halogenated phenthiophenol salt melting or solvent condensation method, hydrogen sulfide method and so on。

3.2. Selection of process scheme

PPS resin was synthesized by sodium sulfide method in this project。This method has the advantages of high yield, low production cost and small discharge of three wastes. At the same time, raw materials are easy to obtain and cheap, which is very suitable for industrial production。
